Pesto Hummus Spinach Pizza

My daughter eats mostly vegetarian and I needed some ways to increase her protein. Sabra Hummus is a great source of protein so I tried adding it to a sandwich wrap for a quick meal. It was a hit! Sabra Hummus comes in so many awesome flavors. I used the Roasted Red Pepper flavor, but the Roasted Tomato would be great too. We love hummus as a snack with tortilla or pita chips.

This wrap pizza could be made with lots of different ingredients. I used pesto but pizza sauce could be used. Any vegetables would work on top!

I love my pizza stones! Over time they look dirty and dark, but that’s how they are supposed to look! The darkness is like a cast iron surface. The darkness helps prevent sticking. We love them for cookies, biscuits, and all kinds of baking because of the even cooking surface. Try them out if you haven’t, they are so worth it!

Our pizza ended up a little dark and crunchy because that’s the way Sara liked it, but also because I should have baked it  a few minutes shorter, so the recipe instructions are for a shorter time period.

Hope you enjoy!
